(1) Secure information on why MovAlyzeR is stopping first.
o Press and hold Control Alt Delete
o Use mouse or arrow keys and when Task Manager selected, hit enter.
o Use mouse or arrow keys and when Applications selected, hit enter.
o Check status and write us the task(s) which is/are not having Running status. If any processes are "Not Responding" status, wait 10 s and if no response.
o Use mouse or arrow keys and when Click Processes selected, hit enter.
o Sort by Image Name and find mova.exe. Write down CPU and Mem.Usage
o Use mouse or arrow keys and when Performance selected, hit enter.
o Note #processes, CPU usage, Commit Charge

(2) Save files and stop all processes and reboot.
o Start MovAlyzeR
o Click File >Logging >view
o Check date and time of the last lines. If logging was off (as no lines were entered today), switch logging on: File >Logging >Log Actions to File so we will have a logging file next time. The log file needs cleared regularly.
o Select the last 10 lines before you see a START without a STOP.
EXAMPLE: Only the following STOP and START sequence is normal:
File >Logging >View Log file and search for Start
20060911 17:59:24.250 = USER INTERFACE: STOP
20060918 16:19:42.156 = USER INTERFACE: START

o Get information on computer: Start >Control Panel >System >General. List all info under system and under computer. Make screen shot by Alt PrintScreen, and paste into a word document.
o Get information on processes (before running MovAlyzeR): Control Alt Delete >Task Manager >Processes. Make screen shot by Alt PrintScreen, and paste into a word document, then select last visible process, scroll up till last visible process is on top, etc.
o Email all information to Support@neuroscriptsoftware.com

(3) Secure the data collected and continue running the experiment.
o If you just started the experiment, just redo the experiment.
o If you have done more than 15 minutes of trials, rerun the experiment under a temporary subject name.
o If your design has Conditions AND trials randomized, count the number of trials and determine how many trials were missing and continue until you have collected enough trials. Then Stop the experiment.
o If your design has Conditions randomize but NOT trials, count which conditions were completed. Then when rerunning, click End Condition before any already done condition (the random sequence will now be different).
o If your design has Conditions AND Trials NOT randomized, count haw many conditions were completed. Then when rerunning, click End Condition for the first completed condition.
o Export the original and the temporary subject and email the .exp and *trials.zip files to Support@neuroscriptsoftware.com and let NS combine the data that will be returned so that you can import them.
