If a MovAlyzeR user produced MovAlyzeR data long time ago using Version 2.9 or older you cannot open those data with Versions 3 or later.
To correct this problem:
o Write down all user code and root path name of the affected user(s)
o You can older data by searching yoru entire disk for "experiment.dat"
o Uninstall your current Version 3 or later
o Download from www.neuroscript.net Version 2.9 and install it.
o Go to the directory where you installed the application, e.g., C:\Program Files\NeuroScript\MovAlyzeR
o Copy the user.* files to a safe place from where you can restore.
o Then delete the user.* files
NOTE: If you do not delete the user.* files you will get errors like:
- Unexpected error in user DB file: Create/Open -Error -1 on file -1.
- Unable to add Item
- No users are defined for this application. You must set up at least one user to use MovAlyzeR.
o Start MovAlyzeR2.9 and proceed as follows:
o You will receive an error code:
Your License File has become corripted or has been tampered with. To recover your software, contact the cendor and ontain a new License File and a 'Recover Code'.
Do you wish to imput your Recovery Code new?
Click Yes
You will see:

However, email us your Recovery Request Code, e.g., 9E1A-6042-C9CA-8A54
We will email you the Recovery Code.
Enter the Recovery Code in the empty place.
You will see then:
This software is Copy Protected by SoftwareShield.
This copy is not unlocked.
Do you wish to unlock it now?
Click Yes
You then will see again:
http://www.neuroscript.net/pricing.php
However, email us your Authorization Request Code, e.g., 39A4-CB89-0F2B-C9CE
We will email you the Activation Code.
Enter the Activation Code in the empty place.
Now define the user you want to have opened including the proper directory
You then will get the request to update the data, which you should agree to do:
Database data has been found to be in an older format. It must be converted to the new format to continue.
Do you wish to convert the datbase files?
Do you want to backup your data first?
When done and verified the data are now accessible:
o Exit Movalyzer
o Restore the user.* files
o Uninstall Movalyzer2.9
o Download the latest Movalyzer version
o Install the desired Movalyzer
o You may observe the error:
This application has filed to start because BCGCB632.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fic the problem.
When reinstalling the the latest Movalzyer version it may appear that not all files ahve beeen uninstalled.
In that case, delete all .exe and .dll files in the following directory, e.g.,:
Directory of C:\Program Files\NeuroScript\MovAlyzeR

If you get any of the following errors you are opening newer database files that already have been converted to formats more recent than Version 2.9

Unexpected error in group DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
Unexpected error in subject DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
Unexpected error in condition DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
Unexpected error in stimulus DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
Unexpected error in cat DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
Unexpected error in element DB file: Create/Open _ Error: Error -1 on file -1.
