You successfully downloaded MovAlyzeR from www.movalyzer.com but installing or running the software does not seem to happen.
Rightclick Start >Windows Explorer
Then navigate to C:\Program Files\NeuroScript\MovAlyzeR
Double click to start movalyzer.exe or mova.exe
You will get an error message
Application failed to initialize properly 0x....
and the application exits.
RESOLUTION
1. Check EVENT VIEWER
Start >Control Panel >Administrative Tools (may be under Maintenance) >Event viewer >Application
or >System
Select the events happening during the installation or running, then rightclick >Properties.
Email the Descriptions or Details to Support at NeuroScript.net
We will be able to diagnose the particular problem.
For advanced users:
2. DLL REGISTRATION SERVER RegSvr32
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\NeuroScript Shared
RegSvr32 Datamod.dll
or any of the other modules in this NeuroScript Shared folder
(Only NSShared.dll and NSSharedGUI.dll cannot be registered as they have no COM object).
3. Verify DLL DEPENDENCIES
The Dependency Walker by Microsoft may generate some known errors so not all messages need to be alarming.
For example, the following Dependency Walker messages are normal:
? DWMAPI.DLL -- Error opening file
SHLWAPI.DLL -- Red icon
MPR.DLL -- Red icon
Warning: At least one delay-load dependency module was not found.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module.
To use Dependency Walker (or DependencyWalker or Depends.exe), download from www.microsoft.com and save it on your Desktop. You can also use the file attached to this posting for your convenience

1. Red messages may appear in the bottom window.
2. The second window from the bottom may list red messages that refer to particular modules.
