CAUSE: The license file is read-only or there is a debugging tool/hacking tool running. This may be the problem in Version 3.6
For completeness:
FALSE_NOT_AUTH_EXPIRED: a call to StartUp found that the Copy-Protection mechanism failed to find the host machines FingerPrint in the list of authorized machines in the license. Further, if the OnAttemptReleaseCP event fired, and was correctly connected to your event handler, the event handler failed to return any Activation Code whatsoever. Further, there is an expiration in effect - and it has elapsed.
CHECK: Assuming you installed at the default location, otherwise alter accordingly: Start >My Computer >C: >Program Files >NeuroScript >Movalyzer >Rightclick Movalyzer33.lic >Properties >Verify User has Read & Full Control
SOLUTION: (For 3.6) If the file is there but does not show the right permission, alter the permission.
If the problem persists, uninstall Movalyzer (no data will be lost): Start >Control Panel >Add/Remove Programs >Remove Movalyzer.
Then install a new Movalyzer, e.g., go to www.neuroscriptsoftware.com >Download >Movalyzer (latest version) >and run the .msi and install (you can also try web install or run the .exe.
Then Start Movalyzer.
You will get a Recovery error. Click OK to receive the Recovery Request Code. Email this code to Support@neuroscriptsoftware.com. You will receive a recovery code within 1 business day. Repeat the process and enter the Recovery code.
This should resolve the problem.
ATTENTION: Each particular recovery code can only be used once.
