Human-Computer Interaction 2007
Every day computers communicate, work, and engage with us; they are an inseparable part of modern life. Advances in human-computer interaction require cooperation between many disciplines, including artificial intelligence, information technology, aesthetics, and psychology. Each improvement in the design of an interface, the usability of a system, or the intuitiveness of an entity, has the potential to dramatically affect our lives.
Human-Computer Interaction (IASTED-HCI 2007) will be an international forum for researchers and practitioners from the multi-disciplinary fields of human-computer interaction. The conference aims to promote new ideas, research, and results in this area, to strengthen the relationships between connected fields of study, and to improve the cooperation between academia and industry.
Conference Chair
Dr. Daniel Cunliffe is the lead for the Computing and Minority Languages Group at the University of Glamorgan in Wales, UK. He is also co-author of the book Multimedia Computing (Learning Matters, 2003). Dr. Cunliffe's research interests include minority culture and minority language communities online, and Web sites for bilingual users.
