In order to run the Window&#8217;s based software on an Apple product you must first download an application that will allow you to access a Windows machine from your iPad2. A good program to download is Splashtop. Splashtop must be downloaded both on the iPad2 and on the desktop that you plan to run MovAlyzeR from.<br />

&#8226;	When you download Splashtop onto the desktop computer, be sure to connect it to a Gmail account, as this will make sure that your iPad2 can connect with the desktop via Splashtop on any wireless network. One of the greatest things about this application is that it only requires a wireless connection, but it will work whether the desktop and iPad2 are on the same one or on a different one (assuming you connect them through a Gmail account).<br />

2.	Once you have installed Splashtop on your iPad2 and your desktop, make sure download Movalyzer onto the desktop. Before you can run an experiment you need to make sure that you set-up the iPad correctly across both the subjects and experiment settings and you want the settings to come from the iPad2 when it is connected via Splashtop to your desktop machine. <br />
<br />
&#8226;	Go to <b>Input Device Set-up</b> and set the dimensions of the device to the iPad2 screen for both height and width. Select the input on the tablet to <b>Mouse</b> and then when it asks for the resolution and sampling rate, click the box that says <b>Acquire Device Settings</b>. When this populates the boxes promptly select the information for the resolution and copy it.<br />
<br />
&#8226;	Now, go the name of your experiment in MoValyzer and right click on it. Select <b>Properties </b>and go to the <b>Input Device</b>. Go down to the bottom of the screen and verify that you are looking at settings for your experiment. From here, you need to select the <b>Acquire Device Settings</b> and it should populate to the same number you just had in the set above. If it does not paste the number you already have copied into the resolution box.<br />
<br />
&#8226;	The last thing that you need to do now is to right click on <b>Subjects</b> underneath your experiment and select <b>Properties</b>. From here you will click on the <b>Input Device</b> and much like above make sure that your resolution rate matches what has been set-up in the User and Experiment settings. Once these things match, you are good to go!<br />
<br />
3.	To verify that everything is working correctly, run your experiment through the iPad2; if you don&#8217;t get an error message you have correctly set everything up! If you are getting an error sign that states that the &#8220;Device settings do not match the computer settings&#8221;, click &#8220;yes&#8221; which will allow you to adjust your settings and try again to set-up your input device making sure that you have the same resolution entered for the User, Experiment, and Subjects.<br />

In 1986 the Dutch Minister for Education, Culture, and Science asked CITO to conduct Periodic Surveys of the Education Level at primary schools ("Periodieke Peilingen van het Onderwijsniveau", PPON). <br />

<b>SUMMARY.</b> In de maanden mei en juni van 1999 is een peiling voor taal en lezen in het speciale basisonderwijs (SBO) uitgevoerd. Het peilingsonderzoek omvatte een inventarisatie bij leraren van enkele aspecten van het onderwijsaanbod, een inventarisatie bij 12- en 13-jarige leerlingen van hun activiteiten en attituden op het terrein van lezen en taal en een onderzoek naar de vaardigheid in lezen, luisteren en enkele ondersteunende activiteiten. Dezelfde toetsen zijn voorgelegd aan leerlingen in het basisonderwijs in de groepen vier tot en met acht, zodat het niveau van de 12- en 13-jarige leerlingen in het speciale basisonderwijs kan worden vergeleken met dat van de genoemde jaargroepen in het basisonderwijs. Het onderzoek is voor een belangrijk deel een herhaling van een eerste onderzoek bij deze groep leerlingen in 1993.<br />

<b>SUMMARY.</b> In het voor- en najaar van 1999 is een drietal schrijfvaardigheidspeilingen uitgevoerd: een peiling halverwege het basisonderwijs, aan het einde van het basisonderwijs en in het speciaal basisonderwijs. Elk van deze peilingen omvatte een inventarisatie van enkele aspecten van het onderwijsaanbod voor schrijven en een gedetailleerd onderzoek naar de vaardigheid in het schrijven van teksten. De inventarisatie van het aanbod in het basisonderwijs vond plaats in de jaargroepen 4 tot en met 8. De aanbodinventarisatie in het speciaal basisonderwijs betrof aspecten van het schrijfonderwijs aan twaalf- en dertienjarige leerlingen. Het onderzoek naar de vaardigheid in het schrijven van teksten is in het basisonderwijs uitgevoerd in de jaargroepen 5 en 8.
