Preliminary testimonial on how MovAlyzer will assist in the research into spatially constrained signatures by the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Unlike some other systems, MovAlyzer collects real-time kinematic data from the pen trace of signatures and handwriting. This allows in-depth exploration and comparison of conventional-inked documents with their electronic dynamic counterparts, using tablets compatible with electronic inking pens. The resulting data is not restricted to a proprietary format, and may be exported to, for example, Matlab. This flexibility enables in-depth statistical analysis of the results. -- Tobin A.
