As part of my PhD project, I have been using MovAlyzeR to collect and analyze the stability of handwriting movements in patients with Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis with the aim to correlate these data with stability measures of speech motor movements. Combining both measures can increase our understanding of the fine motor control symptoms of these disorders, support early and differentential diagnosis, and aid in shaping treatment programs.

MoVAlyzeR is a fairly straightforward program to set up and to collect handwriting data. With its extensive data analysis and export capabilities, the software proves to be a useful addition to my research project.
