    (1) BEFORE connecting the DAQPad, install from the CD with the DAQPad,
or download driver from ni.com >support >Select DAQ (300 Mb).

    (2) If you connected before installing, MSWindows tries to install a default driver. the green light will be blinking. In that case REINSTALL the driver:

    (3) Control Panel >System >Hardware >Device manager >Properties >Find the Data Acquisition >Check you see DAQpad. If it has the yellow exclamation: Click Properties >Reinstall driver

    (4) Connect the DAQPad. The green light should stay on solid.

    (5) Start >Program Files >National Instruments >Measurement & Automation eXplorer (NI-MAX).

    (6) Go to MySystem >Devices & Interfaces

    (7) Verify that the DAQpad 6020E is listed under and if not, try rerunning NI Measurement & Automation, or pressing Refresh (F5).

    (8) Verify that it shows the DAQPad as Device Number 1. If not, right click on the device listed > Properties > System tab >Set Device number = 1

    (9) Verify under >AI tab >Mode=Non-referenced Single Ended (default is differential).

    (if needed)

    o Start MovAlyzeR/GripAlyzeR

o Select DAQPad (View >Toolbars >Device Bar should be enabled)

    o Settings >DAQPad

You will need to select to which of the 3 DAQPad channels your signals are connected to.
Set according to the NeuroScript Gripper hardware: http://www.neuroscript.net/help/DAQPad.html
or according to your custom environment.
